CHLOE ANGYAL, FEMINISTING.COM: I have to thank you, Sabrina, for writing this. I think you've done a tremendous act of public service, and I'm genuinely very, very grateful. It is hard to read an article like this and avoid the conclusion that we live in a culture that hates women, just hates us. It's hard to read an article like this and conclude that the men in this culture, the boys and men in this culture, are raised to see women as not just less than them but in some cases as less than human.

Men are villified in most colleges today.
Unless they show gay tendencies.
Good point.
Just the unattractive ones.
It' s an important part of the scam, I guess. "They hate me! I'm a victim! Pay me government cash!" :)
There might be some resentment built up, but not hate.
Yes, that’s true. It seems that Barry is close with Comcast/Universal, the parent company. He plays golf with the CEO, then we not-so-mysteriously see that he appoints Comcast lobbyist Tom Wheeler to head the FCC. Tom then engineers a crisis for Barry to push his emergency “net neutrality” government takeover of the internet. Comcast funds MSNBC as a propaganda favor to Barry and Democrats in exchange for special treatment (Time-Warner Merger). Any criticism of the Administration would never be tolerated by anyone at NBC, MSNBC or Universal.
The current culture does hate some women; those who are happily married, stay home to raise their children and realize that abortion is truly murder are roundly mocked and scorned. If a woman goes even further and has many children and homeschools them, some strangers feel the need to point out how stupid she is for doing so.
There are women, though, whom the culture loves. Those who have chosen to have their babies sucked out of the womb piece by piece are considered brave and heroic. Women who don’t hesitate to hop in the sack with no commitment whatsoever are empowered and in control of their sexuality. Women who delay having children until well established in their careers are prudent and successful.
It really just depends on the type of woman in question.
A bit hypocritical coming from a woman who is a member of an organization that hates men.
Some of us women saw this coming a few decades ago. Women who don't respect men and their inherent right to be exclusively male ... behave exceedingly stupidly. Ladies, understand: men are our sole defenders, when it all comes down to basics. Emasculating them by demanding full playing rights to whatever they do, is ... stewwwwwwpid.
I will wager a bet that this woman had never, ever uttered a word against Islam and sharia law!
yeah
It sure does seem to be the opposite of what this ninny asserts.
They make money because they are a subsidized political asset for their owners. They aren’t there to make money, they exist only as a propaganda outlet to help whoever MS needs to suck up to. MS learned its lesson about lobbying/political influence when it was sued by Clintons justice dept in the 90’s, and was told by Biden that they need to help the players else they will be leaned on. So now they use MSNBC as a payoff to keep from being hassled. NBC is GE’s own political asset, and it acts as a subcontractor for MS.
I agree with you. In fact, I think today’s young women want to be worshipped for being women. While they are screaming about their ‘strength’, they are demanding to be coddled, with protections men will never have, like free birth control and abortion on demand.
We live in a culture in which too many people do not respect or properly value anyone else; or themselves, for that matter.
As feminism advances, I am finding myself less so.
MSNBC lives in a culture that hates life.
No "raising" or indoctrination required. Mother nature deals with that aspect of the relation between the sexes.
Of course, a small subset of women, the ugly, the bitter, the militant, the angry, the incompetent, the neurotic, the loudest, etc. turn any normal male off.
Hate? No.
Disdain and ridicule? Deserved.
I’m a woman. The only women I “hate” are the ones like this dingbat who make the rest of us (normal ones) look bad.
I certainly don’t feel hated by men - nor hatred towards them. (Ahhh... perhaps I’ve hit on the crux of the feminazi problem...?)
