Lovelessness is what qot us to this point in the first place. The solution is NOT more lovelessness/selfishness.
Sorry, this isn’t a romance novel. You can’t count on love when times get hard, when the money runs out, or when your looks fade. You need commitment to keep people together through that. We no longer have any means to ensure commitment in this society.
