The leqal definition of marriaqe only confuses the issue. Leqally, marriaqe doesn’t mean anythinq. If people settle on obeyinq the LEQAL definitions for marriaqe they’re on sinkinq sand.
REAL marriaqe is defined by the Lord, and when HIS definitions and protocols are followed there will be a blessinq, and love to hold thinqs toqether.

Here’s where the problem lies: when you enter into marriage, whether you like it or not, the laws on marriage automatically apply to you. If the other person decides to invoke those laws against you, you cannot claim “but this is a marriage as defined by the Lord!” That won’t help you in your day in court.
I would prefer to avoid that fate, and the only way to do so, currently, is to avoid marriage altogether, at least in this country.
