A New York City grand jury has declined to indict an NYPD officer in the chokehold case of Eric Garner, the unarmed man who died while being arrested on Staten Island earlier this year.
In opting not to indict, the panel determined there was not probable cause that a crime was committed by NYPD officer Daniel Pantaleo, who was seen on a widely watched amateur video showing him wrapping his arm around Garner's neck as Garner yelled, "I can't breathe!" during the summer altercation.

The guy actually died of a heart attack. The grand jury heard the autopsy which said there was no damage to the neck or throat.
I imagine the guy had a lot of adrenaline flowing and he was very obese.
Cops have no way of knowing perps medical history either.
However, the the butts cost so much there and the government taxes them, so what he was doing was illegal.
It is sad he is dead, but I do not think the cop had any idea the guy would have a heart attack.
No you won't because the Mayor of NYC is a hard core leftist and his base is comprised of equally hard core leftists which include all the major unions in NYC, including the Police..........
There's won't be a word out of De Blasio for fear of alienating those very unions that support him.......

I agree. The officers definitely seemed to have used excessive force.
I was repulsed by the action of police shown in the video.
Later he had a heart attack.
0bamacare needs to be repealed, yesterday, before people get killed over it.
Watch the video, his last words were "I can't breath" and then died...
He was fat and out of shape...
So there ya have it.
The coroner’s report and forensic experts all concluded he died from strangulation.

I saw the video. It was pissing me off. If they were trying to cuff him- they should be fired for outrageous incompetence. There is no excuse for it taking that long. I couldn’t see much evidence of resisting. Especially once on the ground and unable to breath. They should have been able to get their sh!t done and get off of him in 15 seconds.
I get the impression that this is as different as night and day different from the event in Ferguson. Do you think that he Ferguson agitators are purposely stoking the flames in a case where they have no case at all? I guess if there was a legit issue, there would not be as much controversy.
By choosing the Ferguson case instead of the choking case, they can split the country between intelligent, rational, civilized Americans of every color and description on one side, and brainless violent animals on the other. This sounds like a much better path to maximum bloodshed and ultimately Marshal Law.
This afternoon they are saying that the cause of death was a heart attack that happened later.
They have been talking about it on FOX.
If the guy died of strangulation, he would have went down and died in that video.
