Kinda the way a truck should look:

It will find buyers.

Somehow that styling just leaves me cold. Looks flat, boring, insipid. Maybe the slightly higher ride height in the rear, the flat lip on the wheel flails, the smallish tires. Of course none of that means a darn when you get to the stuff that matters. But it just screams “blah.”

It may find buyers, but someone forgot the bed - you know, the thing that makes a truck a truck...

Motor Trend has a long and proud history of picking total losers for their awards. I really like smaller trucks like the Ranger & S-10, but no one offers them any more. We had an old S-10 that ran great, but I gave it to my son and he wrecked it 3 months later.

I guess this explains it:

“Trucks this size are “lifestyle” vehicles rather than pure work trucks, Loh said...”

I did quite a bit of work using a Ranger, a LUV & an S10.

In the looks dept., a substantial upgrade from its previous butt ugly looks.

Won’t ever own one though...or any GM product for that matter.

Current ride is a 2005 F150 Supercrew with 108k...it’s been a great truck so far.

In terms of style, a vast improvement over the previous version of the Colorado, and better-looking than the Tacoma and Nissan Frontier. I’m guessing Ford may be working on an updated Ranger, although the company is reluctant to do anything that might interfere with F-150 sales.

As gas prices head towards $2.00 a gallon, you’re going to see an even bigger surge in truck sales.
