As for what he would or wouldn't have done regarding ObamaCare, amnesty, pacifism in the world, high budgets, etc., we will never know because he wasn't elected. I am not a soothsayer who can predict what Mitt would or wouldn't have done. What I did know is that Obama was not only terrible for the country, he was dangerous to the country. My vote was cast to remove Obama from power.
If Romney had supported the things you claim he would have, I believe he would have backed off and gone with what the citizens wanted. Just as he did with RomneyCare in Mass. That was what the people wanted. OF course what was passed and what was actually created by the Democrat controlled State Legislature were not exactly the same. But at least he gave the citizens what they said they wanted. He would not have acted on his own like Obama has done numerous times. He would have been in a position to appoint more conservative, or at least far less liberal, judges to the Supreme Court. Lastly I felt he would have adhered to the Constitution, whereas Obama has ignored it on numerous occasions.
I still stand by my belief that Romney would have been better for America than Obama. Was I dumb enough to thin he was the perfect person to lead this country in the direction I would like to see it turn towards? No, but it would have resulted in a better direction that Obama, and his cronies, have taken this country.
None of that matters: Romney is for amnesty and socialized medicine.
“I still stand by my belief that Romney would have been better for America than Obama.”
I agree...insomuch as it’s better to get shot with a .22 short rather than a 6K lb. JDAM.
