Jeb Bush: Republicans Don't Need Conservatives to Win White House, Should Not Defund Exec Amnesty

Even though moderate Republican candidates lose presidential elections without the conservative base (see: George H.W. Bush '92, Bob Dole '96, John McCain '08, Mitt Romney '12), former Florida Governor and potential presidential candidate Jeb Bush thinks conservatives are not needed to win the White House.
Bush believes that a presidential candidate who is "willing to lose the primary to win the general" has the best shot at the White House.
*snip*
Should Bush run, his embrace of comprehensive amnesty legislation and Common Core will put him at odds with conservative voters in the early primary states.

There’s always one Bush in a forest that you want to take a piss on, and Jeb is that one.
Dumb as a dead Florida crab.
To: EternalVigilance
At least this Bush is honest about not being conservative.
To: EternalVigilance
Jeb Bush is becoming a very loathsome creature.
He had a nice chat at dinner last night with tablemates Rupert Murdoch and Valerie Jarrett at some DC event.
Isn’t that special?
FUJB.

Why to Republicans insist on bringing forth people like Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Rick Perry, Rand Paul, and others that support amnesty?

"I kinda know how a Republican can win, whether its me or somebody else and it has to be much more uplifting, much more positive, much more willing to be... lose the primary to win the general without violating your principles. Its not an easy task, to be honest with you."
Does he have no recollection of the Lee Atwater run election of 1988? His papa went full-bore negative on Mike Dukakis, and it saved his candidacy. In '92, he reverted to form and got all of 36%.

I’m in Florida...Jeb was a good governor, and I hung on support of GWB for a long as possible before giving up any hope. That said, if Jeb is the candidate, I am sitting out and looking at new party options. The party either needs to be something different than the Democrats or they need to cease to exist. There is no point in even caring if they are the alternative.
I felt that way before this week, but his most recent statements make me detest him as much as almost any Democrat.
