from the article:
As a licensed attorney, and having once worked for years in the insurance industry, I can tell you that if a high school permits a sexually confused boy to play on a girls sports team, and that boy hurts a female player, that school has exposed itself to tremendous liability.
My suggestion to parents? If your high school allows boys to play on your daughters sports teams, sue, sue, sue.
And if, God forbid, one of those boys actually injures your daughter, then dont just sue the school sue the NFHS and Pat Griffin.
Theyre ultimately accountable for this foolishness.
Nailed it. This makes a whole heck of a lot more sense than calling him (yes, HIM) a "transgendered girl".
Extremely rarely, this is what happens.
Unfortunate individuals are born with conformation and even chromosomes that aren't obviously one sex or the other.
At least until recently, parents and doctors just picked one.
This is, of course, utterly and entirely different from a physically and genetically unambiguous male or female "deciding" he's really the other sex.
These conditions are very rare. I've seen 1:1500 to 1:2000 tossed around. That's a small number to rearrange your entire society around.
We don't even make all that many allowances for lefties, and they're somewhere around 1:10.
Yep. If it has 4 wheels and reads Ford on the front grill, then it’s not a Mr Coffee coffee pot.
I love this idea. Show them how stupid it is having girls compete against boys.
Or go 100% co-ed and may the best athlete get to play.
Instead of having boys and girls teams, just transform them to XX and XY teams.
Problem solved.
Would work for bathrooms too.
When I was in high school, a number of girls sued to be allowed on the men’s football and wrestling team. The schools were advised to allow them, even if they got hurt.
Honestly, I see this the same way.

If a person believed that they should have been born with only one leg instead of two and went to a doctor to have one surgically removed, the doctor would refer them to a psychiatrist. The belief that you were born with the “wrong” body parts is a mental disorder and should be treated as such.
99% of the kids wouldn’t be able to figure out which bathroom to go to.
Looks like the East German Women’s Olympic team was just slightly ahead of its time.
Those women were putting themselves at increased risk of injury.
Allowing boys to play on girls' teams puts the other players at increased risk.
It is for one to voluntarily accept additional risk upon oneself - it is not okay to force additional risk on others.
Being a boomer, I remember those eastern bloc female teams. I definitely remember facial hair on a Bulgarian ‘lady’. I’m positive it’s not a distorted memory.
Sorry. Should have read:
“It is okay for one to voluntarily accept additional risk upon oneself - it is not okay to force additional risk on others.”
Sorry, the law cuts both ways.
You can’t have women play on men’s teams and then keep the men out of women’s teams.
Also, having a girl on the wrestling team places a high risk on the opposing boys. All she has to do is claim “He touched me in a bad place” and the school (and the guy) is facing a huge ugly law suit. Same with football, basketball, and dang near any sport.
Are you really using an illogical, unnatural, law to shore up your argument?
Are you saying you disagree with the following statement:
It is okay for one to voluntarily accept additional risk upon oneself - it is not okay to force additional risk on others.
