If we had nuked Mecca, Baghdad, Tehran, and Damascus in the days immediately after 9-11..... we’d be in a very different world right now...
There are estimated 150 million Muslim fanatics (10% of Muslim population) spread over in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Yemen, Somalia, Nigeria, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar. Bombing those 4 cities will put only a small dent in the terror problem.
If you added Damascus, Amman, the West Bank, Doha and Islamabad to that list I might be persuaded... excited, even.
Anyone remember in the days/weeks following 9-11 the talk of turning Mecca and Medina into a sea of glass??
