There’s been too much social mobility instead of mobility from useful production, useful production having been outlawed with regulations by the social mobile. “Social,” although commonly preferred in hiring, doesn’t produce. The result is eventual default.
UC Davis is a second rate university that no one would even know existed if it wasn’t for its Ag department and veterinarian school.
Is the professor’s a bell curve based point?
Who wants to bet the ‘professor’ is a white liberal elite or a black shill for white liberal elites?
This 2 min. youtube video is profound.
It compares the behavior of Black Friday shoppers from 1983 to today.
Imagine what life will be like in thirty years, God help us.
Black Friday 1983 vs. Today

See the video, please. We have lost, I’m thinking. Imagine 30 years hence.
I believe that:
1. being a military veteran,
2. taking what I learned in the military, and having advanced myself using that education, training and knowledge, to have been: an assistant shop chief for an aircraft radar maintenance shop; an R&D-Production Tech for a ship-mounted defense system; a DoD Quality guy at an aerospace manufacturer when Shuttle parts were being produced; the Office Administrator for the Census2000 - the FIRST totally automated Census program,
3. being a ‘guest columnist’ for 6 years for the regional newspaper,
are all portions of my american Dream realized.
Now, another portion or two are about to be realized, and they are:
1. to rid the nation of a Communist, muslim alimentary canal kisser,
2. to rid the education system of such inbred morons, as the original author of this piece about the American Dream.
Long Live The Republic!

That’s a beautiful testament. My Dad was a sharecropper’s son born in 1923 in Tennessee - I visited the shack he was born in - dirt floor and walls papered in magazine pages - he was behind a mule guiding a plow without shoes at 8 years old. Yet, he totally lived the American Dream - and brought six of us into the world, provided for us and taught us all the value of hard work and determination. He lived a solidly middle class life, started a newspaper and bought another one. He is why I’m a conservative to this day.
Sorry not. Idiots like this professor mostly have tenured posts and the taxpayers will keep paying them throughout any worsening of the Great Obama Recession.
I am not posting to defend UCD or the whack job of an economist like the one in question but I certainly hope that
the UC Davis medical facility in Sacramento is up to the task
of performing a throat laser procedure on yours truly in one week from this day. Furthermore, a pre-op xray revealed some heart issues and other problems resulting from a serious ATV accident which occurred in 2010. Here’s hoping that your
“second rate” evaluation of UC Davis is a bit of hyperbole.
Sorry, but when the money runs out they will not be paid. And that day is coming. Make no mistake about it.
We Hope you’re right ! If all the productive workers are laid off, we sure won’t need this idiot professor writing more bs on our nickle.
Davis does have an excellent medical program and you are in first-rate hands; although I would check out the vet program for a second opinion!
Cheers and good luck,
Sacramento High, class of ‘61
LOL - no, we haven’t lost - it just looks that way... looks that way a whole lot...
