NFL'S SMARTEST MAN WRITES INTERNET'S SMARTEST FERGUSON REACTION
Breitbart Sports ^ | November 27, 2014 | Daniel J. Flynn

New Orleans Saints tight end Ben Watson scored a 48 on the Wonderlic test, making him, along with Houston Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, the smartest guy in the NFL according to the predraft intelligence gauge. Anyone doubting the man's brains, or the test's ability to judge them, should immediately read Watson's observations--before you read anything more here--on the killing of Michael Brown, the backlash against Darren Wilson, the looting in Ferguson, and so much more.

Watson posted a piece on Facebook outlining the range of contradictory emotions the Missouri grand jury's decision unleashed in him. It's insightful. It's provocative. It's profound.

Because he doesn’t see it root and branch the way I do, I am not going to trash the man.

I did not say that he went far enough. I said that *some* of the things he said ring true. And they do.

You are going to discount everything he said because he didn’t get it exactly right the way you see it. I won’t.

Ben Watson, and other people like him might not focus on the fact that modern racist oppression is a myth, but I will work with people who may understand that this guy wasn’t an innocent being, and maybe the cop was doing his job.

You are entitled to your own opinion just as I am. Overall, I find Watson to be part of the problem that perpetuates black victimhood. He is legitimizing the grievances expressed by so many Black race hustlers.

Athletes and sports personalities reacted to the news on social media. Most notable of those reactions, perhaps, was that of Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James, who has made his views on other political and social issues known in the past. James and his Miami Heat teammate posted a photo of themselves wearing hoodies in March 2012 in response to the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. Below is a collection of athletes' reactions:

Ben Watson doesn't subscribe to that point of view. He is from the "maybe" school of who is at fault. He even allows that Wilson could have provoked Brown,

I don’t see it that way. He is a “bleeding heart liberal” who is viewed as a useful idiot by the race hustlers. But intelligent people can be ignorant and blinded as well.

I stratify liberals so I can figure out how to deal or exist with them, and I may see liberalism as the root cancer, but that doesn’t mean I think the bleeding heart variety can’t be educated or converted.

“Now, there’s a guy who I wouldn’t mind calling a friend and neighbor.”

And 15 years from now you won’t see his kids torching cars and looting.

Tried one, came across a common core math problem, immediately stopped taking it.
