Darren Wilson, the Ferguson, Missouri, police officer who killed unarmed teen Michael Brown in August, setting off months of protests, will likely never be a law enforcement officer again, his lawyer said in an interview with NBC station KSDK.
"Realistically speaking, Darren will never be a police officer again, and he understands that," attorney Jim Towey said. "Going forward it will be school, and trying to carve out a new niche, new career, for he and his family."
There were violent protests this week in the St. Louis suburb after a grand jury declined to indict Wilson in Brown's death on Aug. 9. Twelve buildings and a police car were torched, police officers were pelted with bottles and rocks, and tear gas was used against crowds in protests after the grand jury's decision Monday. Other protests also erupted across the country....

Yeah, that’s irrelevant. Now that he has become infamous, he should’ve been wiser about his actions. The fact is that he’s not “normal” any longer. He is going to be hunted forever.
So drop it, leave him alone, quit pursuing him on the internet.
The Ferguson Lynch Mob were not able to hang Darren Wilson from a tree, but they have the satisfaction of killing his career.
“Why did Wilson continue to pursue Brown?”
That’s where Wilson screwed up. I said this on another thread. Once Wilson was assaulted, the line was grayed between Wilson as a cop and Wilson as a victim. Wilson should have stayed in the squad car and waited for backup.
We’ve all heard “never discipline a child when your angry”. That truism applies here as well...
Brown should have been dealt with by other officers who were not involved in the way Wilson was. Had reason prevailed, everybody would be better off. Innocent citizens wouldn’t have died, the city wouldn’t have been torched, Wilson life wouldn’t have been turned upside down, and Brown would be looking a 10 year (or more) stint in prison.
However the culture in the police forces will not allow this.
? I just made a comment that I hope that Darren Wilson is wiser than GZ. You act like I’ve physically crucified him. I’m hardly “pursuing” him when I’m not even truly talking about him. You’re the one who’s making a mountain out of a molehill, here.
So things like post 4 and 94 don’t exist?
My dad worked in a maximum security prison in the BAU. That’s the Behavioral Adjustment Unit. Situational awareness on many levels is the key to safety. Wilson’s adrenaline was obviously (and understandably) in control, and that’s something a skillful enemy or opponent will use against you.
“in control”
Did you mean out of control? If you did I agree with you...
Same here where I live. However, if he does get another police job - the stinkin’ MSM will find out and plaster it all over the media for the race baiters and haters to find him. This country is sick and out of control. How dare these people cost someone a living because they don’t agree with a decision?
I agree 100% with what you wrote. Someone needs to be sued over this.
Much like Waco could have been avoided if the sheriff had just been allowed to arrest Koresh when he made his daily stop at the quick mart for milk and bread like he wanted to do.
Yep.
“My small town in rural Colorado is 99% white. Blacks are rare around these parts. Not much for the police to do. Hasnt been a murder here for ages.”
Same here in my suburban San Francisco Bay Area town. Our cops send all three cars on the night shift to back up one of them giving someone a traffic ticket because there’s nothing else for them to do. They have all kinds of time to get themselves into trouble for helping to set up men for DUIs for their wives divorce attorneys, or selling illegal guns or drugs as a sideline.
Wasn’t there an nonlinear fund set up for him? If not, should be.

Go to TX where folks are even a lot more conservative.
Banished for doing your job.
What have we become?
Policing has changed and will continue to change for the worst because of political pressures and the radical black and liberal socialist agenda.
He won't get one.
