EBT Cards trade in the hood for about 50 cents on the dollar, just like the old food stamp did.

And EVERYONE knows the inner-city convenience store scam of “Buying” stuff on the EBT, then returning it for cash, minus a 10 or 20% “restocking” fee.

They aren’t buying $50 dollar racks of beef at Walmart to eat, but to sell.

They should have called Eric Holder. He’d have fronted the money so “his people” wouldn’t have to wait for EBT cards.

Governor LePage has been working on this sort of thing, limiting EBT eligible expenditures. I'll mention adding this to his list.
