A grand jury has reached a decision on whether to indict Darren Wilson, the white Ferguson, Mo. police officer whose fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager sparked days of turbulent protests, sources close to the process said.
Sources said that press conferences are being prepared by the county prosecutors’ office and the Missouri governor. Those press conferences will likely come later today.

I tend to agree, in order to appease they might sacrifice Wilson and charge him with something lesser, before he heads off to some tropical island....

Watching businesses putting up barriers - what a sorry state (no pun intended) to find oneself in.
That’ll leave working people time to get home so they can defend their property. Also, vacate the businesses that are about to be looted and burned.
That would just embolden them because if it isn't a first degree murder suggestion. And any suggestion that Wilson be tried is going to anger those who support him.

CNN has been hanging out in Ferguson for months now. They have a vested interest in the “right” outcome.
I am trying to imagine some local talking head walking out and saying, “The Grand Jury decision was made, not guilty, everyone have a safe Thanksgiving, no questions, thank you.”
I don’t see manslaughter because there is no case. Pure and simple self defense on an attacking felon!! There is no question. Surely they will not apease a lynch mob!! They have to have 4 people say “no bill”— out of 12. 9 whites and 3 blacks. This is a no bill if I ever saw one. I would be shocked at doing anything to this great officer and public servant.

I saw on twitter that the MO governor is on his way to Ferguson. I would think they would wait until after normal business hours local time, to allow commuters to get home. But then again, the longer you wait, the better chance of it leaking out.
Maybe, but we haven't seen what the GJ has seen. There have been rumors, innuendo, and "leaks", but I really have no idea how this is going to play out.
The one thing that will make me madder than a homo with tonsillitis on valentine’s day is if any of this contrived crap preempts any football on Thursday.
