But The New York Times, which first reported Hagel's departure, suggested the Defense secretary was being forced out over concerns over his ability to lead the campaign against ISIS.If you believe that you probably voted for Obama twice.

He got his “executive experience” ticket punched; now he can launch his campaign for POTUS.
I hope I’m kidding.

There have also been reports of high-profile clashes between Hagel and top White House officials, especially on ISIS policy. I knew Obama would be pissed when Hagel let our guys actually kill some of those ISIS people. We're supposed to be targeting trees and dogs for show, but aren't supposed to hurt any of the ISIS fellas.

This timing is due to Ted Cruz’ threat, yesterday.

If Hagel had balls and a true sense of responsibility, he should have resigned and done so publicly. Not quietly. Top brass too. Are there no MEN amongst them???

Even the weak-kneed, liberal and worthless Hegel was too much for the Obama team. Hegel once asked the President, if the administration was going too far by providing the Taliban and 20 other groups, the US withdrawal from Afghanistan and Iraq, dates, times, coordinates and troop strengths of our retreating boys. Hegel thought it was just too much. He then sealed his fate with the Obama team by proposing the US stand up for itself regarding Putin. Obama & Co. could not believe the gall of the SOD, asking such a ridiculous question. Obama had called for the complete denuding and weakening of the entire US military and Hegel, still being a Vet just could not follow through with Obama’s plan. He had to go, not stupid enough...

The proper exit for Secretary Hagel would be to reveal the Bowe Bergdahl findings that have been sequestered for so long. That would be going out on a high note!

I'm not going to be happy until I read a headline that says:
Bowbama Resigns!
To: Cincinatus' Wife
President Obama will announce the resignation of Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel on Monday in the first high-profile personnel move since Democrats suffered significant losses in this month's midterm elections. As if Hagel was the reason for these "significant midterm losses". They're removing the wrong cabinet member.

Just watched Duck Soup. The parallels to this circus administration are striking and I am not joking. Chico as Chicolini, as Hagel, Secretary of War, Obama as Rufus T. Firefly and the main stream media played by Margaret Dumont, the quintessential straight man. Hail, hail Fredonia.....

“Republican” Hagel just wanted to get a little distance between himself and Obama so he could get a high level job with the next “Republican” (RINO) president that he thinks is coming.

The RATS love RINO’s in positions such as DoD head. Remember William Cohen? Hagel is now a man without a party and basically a man without much of anything. The GOP should shun this turncoat.
To: Cincinatus' Wife
Hagel’s exit aside, 0bama’s military purge accelerates, as he replaces competent officers with party hacks who are poorly trained and ill-prepared. An unpleasant prospect for concerned Americans.

He wants to put in someone else not acceptable, the Republicans won’t confirm and he will say the reason for the terror in the world is Republican’s fault. Everything Obama does is for a political end. He doesn’t give a rat’s ass about America. I don’t say that lightly.
