I actually had a black co-worker tell me once that “black Friday” was insulting. I had to explain to her that it was a good thing for retail, as a lot of businesses don’t actually get out of the red and start making a profit until that day.
If it is done on Black Friday, it will be done after that first search of shoppers. A lot of the rioters are the same ones who caused the stampedes when many stores open on Black Friday.

Charlotte has a curfew for young adults and Monday night protests were quiet and peaceful. Must have a permit and only 50 people at corners...I was surprised it was so quiet and no one arrested.
Same in Atlanta, peaceful protests mostly hands up for M Brown...no burning or looting or arrests...not sure about their permits and gathering numbers. For HOTLANTA, I was surprised in a good way.
California, Missouri and other states need curfews and permits with restrictions on how many can gather at a corner or in the street in one spot, it could help stop the looting and burning.
