He’s too anti-Second Amendment for me. Americans are going to have to be able to defend themselves in Barry’s newly-established “fundamentally transformed” America. We aren’t going to be able to count on the government and law enforcement anymore. Americans need the Second Amendment now more than ever.

Katrina Van Den Heuvel is a stone Commie.

She’s trying to con the idiots into a sucker move.

Carson would be trampled in the first round of anything and has never run for so much as Dog Catcher, let alone President.

He could perhaps consider being a Commooonity Organizer for a while, or marry someone famous like Hillary Rodham What’s-His-Name.

I agree. No support for the 2nd Amendment and will not make past the primary.

Well, if Katrina vanden Heuvel says he should be the nominee, then that’s enough for me/s

Why doesn’t Carson try to run for the Senate first?

If Republicans cannot find someone Pro2A this time around, I may not vote. That means no Christie and no Carson.

He left the republican party because he says they impeached Clinton for adultery.

Carson only became a republican again, this month.

Yes, Bush and the RINO wing of the ‘RAT party are trying to encourage multiple conservative (or perceived or posing as conservative) candidates so the old splitting up of the conservative vote allows yet another RINO to win the nomination.

Let’s coalesce around TED CRUZ, a true proven constitutional conservative who CAN WIN — — which is why the ‘RATS and RINOs fear him.

True and if the Huckster jumps in the race we will probably hear that Ben Carson who is a Seventh Day Adventist is not a real Christian etc. I don’t want to hear that again.

Good question. He could run in 2016 against Barbara Mikulski (or her substitute should she decide not to run when she is 80 years old).

To me he seems to just be a retired black surgeon who has some moderate to conservative political views and likes attention for his opinions.

I don’t know how he gets talked about as a President or as leader of the Republican party and the conservative movement.

"there was a consensus moment between former President Bush's chief re-election strategist Matthew Dowd and Katrina vanden Heuvel, publisher of the liberal magazine The Nation: Dr. Ben Carson should run for president."

Not as a Republican. He won't get the nomination. Not just because of 2A. Who was the last President who was elected who had no political or military experience? Plus, if Katrina vanden Heuvel likes it, it must be very bad for us.

All that said, I do hope he runs for the Senate from Maryland.

There is nothing in being a Senator that qualifies one to be President necessarily.

because A: he’s far more than just a retired surgeon and B: he was one of the first folks to stand up to dear Emperor - not saying I support him, because he’s not my first choice - but just answering your question.

We sure don’t need another president who is immune from impeachment because of the color of his skin.
