In hindsight, it was a mistake to leave so soon. If all the Tea Party folks had stayed put for a month, they could have broken Fedzilla's back and saved the republic.
. . . always assuming that everyone, or even very many of us, could, logistically, have done that.

The thing I never really knew was, “Who were those guys?” You were there, I was there, there were something on the order of a couple hundred FReepers/spouses there. Who else promoted that gathering??? By a long shot, it wasn’t just FReepers - and we have to know that FReepers alone could not, sadly, orchestrate a repeat. Certainly not in the winter.

Of course, that's the critical stop for 90% who'd be willing to stay put in DC long enough to get the job done. Most people on our side are producers. They can't just stop what they're doing for a solid month for any reason.

In order for a group such as ours to pull off something like this, we'd have to co-ordinate scheduled reinforcements. A guy stays for four days because that's all he can do, then someone else comes and relieves him so he can go home. In that way, the numbers aren't diminished.

It would take a lot of work to organize, but it could be done. Nothing's impossible, if the will is there.
