Last week, Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor Jonathan Gruber, one of prominent architects of Obamacare, was exposed as little more than an elitist fraud.
Gruber was caught on videotape expressing the haughty attitude that drove the Affordable Care Act, deriding the "stupidity" of Americans as a way to justify misleading them.
Gruber apparently thinks such deception is OK because yokel voters could not handle the truth about the looming chaos he helped to engineer in their health coverage.
Unfortunately, Gruber's disdain for the proverbial masses -- he was paid nearly $400,000 in consulting fees -- is thematic of the last six years.
Another master-of-the-universe drafter of Obamacare was Ezekiel Emanuel. He scoffed on national television that the number of people covered by Obamacare at that point was "irrelevant."

I’ve been noticing for a while that Gruber reminds me of Ezekiel Emanuel.
And not in a good way.
Rahm’s CREEPY brother Ezekiel was in on ALL this FRAUD ALSO!!!
It's worse - if victims are hurt by their schemes, Snobocrats rationalize that they are members of the white middle class, anyway...and therefore they deserve it as payment for the Original Sins of slavery and white privilege.
And any politician might become this arrogant, when his opposition has become too frightened to shout him down.
Boy, you two are exactly right. He DOES remind me of Ezeeekeeel (please die at 75) Emanuel AND was in on the planning. Want to bet they’ve had phone conversations since this broke? And that Ezeekeel E is hiding out.
GOOD points - both of you. Sauropod - got my morning laugh from your tag line. bwahaha
We all need to call our senators and reps today. Block this guy with any means we have. To heck with bonehead and no chin Mitch - both are spineless and why were they elected again? Disgusting.
So this month we voted for term-limits, and that effectively fired most of them, including the mayor.
EXCELLENT......... I’m from Wisconsin and now I’m still gloating that we have overcome horrid attempts to dump our Gov. Scott Walker. Neener, Neener...... we won - get over it. And “they” are NOT happy. But we Love our Gov.
Sad but true. Very well written.
Most people can figure out a budget. They are smart enough to know that when the account says zero, you quit writing checks. When you borrow money to cover the difference, you have thrown a percentage of your future down the drain.
An example; Not to blow my own horn, but, this fall, after our excessively rainy summer, our septic system showed signs of failing. I kept delaying, hoping the leach field would dry out. As our winter was approaching, with the ground freezing fast, I HAD to decide. We were saving to get the wife a new car. Now I had to choose, a new car or a new septic system. I love my wife and would like to get the new car, but a toilet that flushes every time is also important.
We discussed it and decided it was more important to replace the 30 year old septic. We dug into our "new car fund" and called the contractor. Two days later he left and we breathed easier.
We could finance the car, but choose not to do it that way. We don't choose to become slaves to a finance company.
This doesn't make us superior to anyone, it just shows the common sense we would like to see in our government. I am not against financing something absolutely needed, but most things are not worth sacrificing your children's future. We are at the point of spending our GRANDCHILDREN'S future. Then what happens?

He was pissed and freaked out and wanted to know how this happened. So he did the research and found the tapes.
