Food and gaming chain Dave & Buster’s has had to apologize after sending out a racially-charged tweet to promote #TacoTuesday.
On Tuesday, Dave & Busters --which has more than 70 locations in North America-- posted on this on its official Twitter feed:

My brother was in a building talking to the old guy manning the desk. A worker came in to do the floors or something. The old guy asked him his name.
“Juan”
“Christ - are all of you guys called Juan?”
“Yeah - pretty much. I’ll be up on the third floor.”
My brother laughed - but I think he was waiting for a lawsuit against the old guy for being so politcally incorrect.
I need to forward the story on the window washers that were rescued from the World Trade Center tower recently. Their names were both Juan!
So the opposite is not racist? Or is it racist, too? I dunno.

It was fun, or so I was told.
So, I guess a sex change operation in Mexico can no longer be called “a hole in Juan”.
We’ve got a Mexican place in town where the specials are named Juan, Tu, Tree, Fo and Fie. Everybody I know thinks it’s awesome.
That’s racist? I wonder what they would think of this commercial from the 60s?

if I ever find Choco-Pies at the store, I am gobbling them down, I doubt that makes me an anti-Korean racist.
