In short, some top Republicans (other than Boehner and McConnell) have warned that Obama's expected action on immigration would derail efforts to pass a long-term spending bill by Dec. 11, 2014. Boehner and McConnell, who don't want a long-term spending bill derailed, are working on several options to give Republicans the opportunity to vent their frustrations - just not the type of venting that would culminate in a government shutdown.

Limbaugh isn’t going to like this, but I imagine that he knows what Boehner and McConnell are all about.
I wonder if Obama’s use of executive action will take some heat off of Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio on this issue.
