Perhaps Purdue and company would be interested in the technology. Bell and Evans?

Lemme guess. They discovered that it doesn’t work very well at night or on cloudy days or certain times of the year.

Huge solar plant lags in early production.
Oh there’s a surprise.
Huge solar plant lags in mid production.
Totally unexpected.
Huge solar plant fails to meet production quotas at all.
Clean wind, that’s the answer...

Until they can come out with something akin to a laser printer/toner and/or printing process using easy to obtain materials, solar will continue to be a pipe dream...

What effect do these boiling hot solar panels have on "climate change"???? Not much rain or moisture in California these days, while it's snowing heavily elsewhere.
Was this project SOLD WITH LIES like Obamacare was? Say it ain't so!
To: don-o
Sounds like its a gas-fueled power plant in disguise. Those mirrors and solar boilers are just window dressing. What a lousy boondoggle this is.

Full read of the article tells that they are burning natural gas 4.5 hrs a day to even get the reduced production.

We passed the hugh mirror array outside of Gila Bend yesterday..it was blowing hard and we had sand drifting across 8 in many places. I wonder how they keep those babies clean

...Fromer said it was surprising that so much additional gas is needed, adding that it "signals to me they have some very large problems that they are going to need to sort out." In a couple of years when this whole boondoggle gets shut down it will be the headstone to the hubris of the climate change greenies.
This has all the classic hallmarks of a government boondoggle written all over it.

Maybe they should have built it up at the North Pole.
If the Sun can melt the polar ice caps, as scientists claim, then it should be able to give enough energy to run this plant.

These eco-criminals need to be arrested on fraud and conspiracy charges. I’m sure a team of forensic accountants looking at all their books could find lots of crime.

They forgot to enact triple daylight savings time to get longer days and more sunshine.
