Regarding the imam leading the prayer.... absolute abomination.... the u.s. was founded by Christian men, praying to God the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, by power of the Holy Spirit.
In addition, the U.S. Navy was created to counter the depredations of the Barbary pirates... Muslim radicals based out of what is now Libya.
The U.S. Marines also went on those Navy ships, and fought said pirates.... thus the stanza “from the halls of Montezuma, to the shores of Tripoli “.
Whose idea was it to invite this imam, whose religion’s adherents this nation fought against those many years ago, to say his prayers to an idol in the halls of Congress?
