Confrontations Await Obama After Productive Trip
ABC News ^ | November 16, 2014 | By JULIE PACE AP White House Correspondent

After a productive trip abroad, President Barack Obama headed home Sunday on a collision course with Republicans on immigration and an oil pipeline project, showdowns that threaten prospects for cooperation over his remaining two years in office.

Given his faltering political support in the U.S. and his party's recent election losses, his trip to China, Myanmar and Australia appeared to offer respite.

The president, who was due to arrive in Washington late Sunday, basked in policy breakthroughs with China and warm welcomes in Myanmar and Australia.

"I intend to build on that momentum when I return home," Obama said at a news conference before heading home.

Obola shook hands with a Red Chinese guy. I don’t see what is so productive about that.

And just how much did his “breakthrough” with foreign countries cost us?

In fact, exactly what are these breakthroughs - how much we’ll be taxed for something that was totally made up by scientists being bribed by government grants?

“Obola shook hands with a Red Chinese guy. I don’t see what is so productive about that.”

How about, he promised to try and cripple our economy by cutting back drastically on CO2 emissions while the Chinese laughingly said they’d try to peak theirs in 15 years? What a visionary!

Productive is in the eye of the beholder.

From my perspective, he was floundering about looking to attach himself to any populist idea so he could under write it with US borrowed money.

Yeah, whatever the ‘productive’ part was it wont be good for America or American workers,

He wants a confrontation because even after the utter rejection of his failed policies, he still believes the republicans will immediately whimper and cower in the corner while the MSM carries his water for him,

While this is likely true,

Its becoming clear to me that recently there has been a change, more people are able to see this creature inhabiting the White House for what it is, evil,

Do I think this trend will continue for very long, no,

An agreement with the Red Chinese that they don’t obey until 2030 ?

“Productive” trip abroad?????? If you define “productive” as “not getting hit in the face with a creme pie”, that is. What a pathetic Clown.

He was shuffled off to the ladies end to the photo line while the real men stayed away from him. Real productive.

“I intend to build on that momentum when I return home,”

If they love you in Myanmar — stay there. Their love will carry no “momentum” to turn back America’s disgust with you, Hussein.

Obama’s fellow Democrats don’t want to be seen in the same room with him, American audiences walk out of auditoriums when he begins to speak, yet he’s a big hit in...Myanmar?!

China doesn’t count because it’s a dictatorship and Xi Jinping, unlike Mary Landrieu, knows he could shake hands with the devil without hurting his non-existent re-election prospects. And as for Australia, it was the site of the G-20 meeting, so it couldn’t restrict entry to the participants.

So, the only places Obama can still be sure of a warm reception are Myanmar and Jeffrey Katzenberg’s living room.

Yeah, the people that voted for him, can you imagine them hiring such a person to coach the Chicago Bulls for a season and he spends his time being owned and bowing across the court and hamstringing his own players at every opportunity,

No, they would fire him after the first week,

Unfortunately their not smart enough to translate this extreme incompetence,

“Productive Trip”?

ROTFLOL!

I notice that the article didn’t ACTUALLY bother to mention what got accomplished, if anything, but merely asserted “productivity” occurred.

I don’t think that even McConnell can escape the fallout from US coal plant shutdowns that are one the “productive” aspects of this agreement. There are a lot of coal mines in KY and it promises to be a very cold winter, thanks to global warming of course.
