The countries that are most efficient in energy use, not only do they not subsidize energy in fact, they tax energy use, Obama said. So you look like in a country like Norway, which produces a lot of oil, but gasoline there is still $6 or $7 a gallon, which in liters who wants to do a liter conversion for me?
Anyway, its very expensive, Obama added.
And weve doubled fuel-efficiency standards on cars, he continued. So in a few years, by the middle of the next century, by 2025, you wont be able to sell a car in the United States unless it is delivering twice as much mileage for every gallon of gas.

Did you catch the “...middle of the next century..” part? If my calculations are correct, the middle of the “next” century would be 2150. I could be wrong though. As long as I demonstrate how I arrived at my conclusion, the answer doesn’t matter. HUH?
Isn’t that useless SOB about due for another vacation on our dime?
Just give your money and surrender your freedom to Barak Obama and the world will be a wonderful place.
Why don’t we tax politicians? Say $1,000 for every time they open their mouth?
Railroads will be hard pressed to run without the wooden ties, tar, chicken feathers, and rope will be come commodities in high demand - watch for price gouging ...
owebama was obviously using Common Core mathematics. Either that or he wasn’t using his teleprompter so his mouth was running without a brain attached again.
Absolute Insanity!
What about the workers who work in those gas fields you Putz?
The "Party of the Working Class" is keeping the Worker Class Poor.
He would have done better as a Commissar in East Germany >:(
Believe me they are doing a great deal with our tax dollars. That's why it costs 10 million to build a government building that any local contractor could build for 100K.
It no more efficient, but hey that's not the point. All those recent environmental grads need jobs.
The government employees know they drill. The GSA building manager cuts the heat down to 60 to look good on paper and the employees all buy space heaters and put them under their desk.
Norway is a long skinny country
Doesn’t take much gas to drive from coast to coast
“Under my plan, energy costs will necessarily skyrocket.” B. Hussein Obama.
Nothing this putz does should surprise anyone. He told us everything he was going to do to us.
Government Engineering.
Pull a number out of your A$$ and Legislate Technology that you have absolutely no idea how to achieve.
Gee Obama, proclaim that Cars should get 100 MPG and you can take Credit to quadrupling Gas Mileage. It’s simple!
"Obama Touts Enormous Taxes To Fight Global Capitalism"
There, I fixed it.
This goofball was so screwed up by bring constantly diddled by Frank Marshal Davis as a young boy that now he just hates. It is an often unfocused hate that shades his every decision. Mostly he hates anyone that threatens to disrupt his warped view of the world. Michelle and the kids are just his beard. At some level he probably despises them to.
Obama will spend 8 years focusing on FICTION
I see that he is channeling his ‘inner’ Joe Biden - chief defense against impeachment as well!
So the pres says we need to tax gasoline like Norway: says $6-$7 per gallon is good for everybody, as it will give lots and lots of taxes for big govmt. (Actually, about $10 per gallon in Norway.)
This overlooks a whole pile of facts, of course.
Norway has very little roadway and very few drivers... approx. 94,000 kilometers (58,750 miles) of roadways. And they have to pay somehow for those many kilometers of mountains they had to bore through to provide a few roads. Besides, who wants to drive when you can take a boat? Everything is on the coastline, so I hear, because the mountains come right down to the water. (One of those real-life conundrums: Why is the water near the shore? Who knows? Go ask Gruber...)
There are over 4,000,000 miles of roadway in the US, and over 650,000 in just Texas—and no compelling reason to bore through any mountains, at least in Texas, that I can think of.
Isn’t comparing apples and oranges fun! But that never slows down those “scientific” dems. As Mark Twain said, It’s amazing the conclusions you can arrive at by using just a piddling of facts.
Conundrum. Charge 6-7$/gal, lessens driving lowering revenues. WTH? I guess it was necessary huh? But, you can bet bee-ounce-eh, ree-ah-na, okra winfry and their ilk would still be jetting around on their private or chartered jets just flitting about from place to place on a whim. Poor, sad little “not super sophisticated” rubes toiling far below. If they can find a job.
Just another screwjob for the American people from the American Soviet Party.
