Missouri House Speaker Tim Jones on Wednesday created a committee of lawmakers to review allegations that Attorney General Chris Koster is influenced by lobbyist perks and campaign contributions.
Jones, a Eureka Republican, said the committee will look into claims that Koster, a Democrat, changed policies and negotiated more favorable settlements in consumer fraud cases following lobbying by companies. The allegations were raised by a New York Times article published last month that cited similar examples involving attorneys general across the country.

Hahahahahaha!
If the Slimes knows about this much, what else is there?
Hmm. My experience here in Florida is the same. Big business is always trumping the consumer. Florida Farm Bureau supports the in charge Republicans and overcharging by this outfit is not investigated - period. I had proof and poof it went. Agents and underwriters quoting discounts that were cut in half when paperwork was sent out. Of course phone recordings (which I cannot admit having) in Florida are useless and illegal, thank you Republicrats for that one.
It’s nice to see these headlines with the voting booths no even packed up and put away yet!

Yeah, I’m sure the Slimes was evenhanded about it. /s
I live in Missouri and Koster is running for Governor. It is thought he would be very hard to beat. Looks like that might change now.
Just last month i filed a consumer complaint against a company with MO Attorney General Koster. Two weeks later I received an apology and even a refund from this national company based on their contact with Koster’s office. I’m happy.
But I do give him high marks on telemarketers
My complaint was with Directv.
