Expectations were low when President Obama started his China trip Monday, less than a week after Democrats were trounced in the midterm elections.
Yet upon his departure Wednesday from Beijing, Obama could claim some trophies from his visit: Hed landed several agreements with his hosts, including a first-ever commitment by China to control its greenhouse gas emissions.
I would describe this as the most successful multilateral summit of his presidency, said Aaron Connelly, a research fellow in the East Asia program of Lowy Institute in Australia. He said it was impressive that the White House had been able to nail down some deals late in Obamas visit to Beijing, as opposed to having concluded them days or weeks earlier.

There must be much much higher levels of algae in around Sham Fransicko than their normal high levels.

Wins? WINS??? The climate thing is where he agreed we’d commit suicide and maybe they’d start to follow us in 15 years? That is a WIN???

This has nothing to do with China. You're right. China is just a prop for Obama to do what he was gonna do with or without an agreement.

Yes. China won.
Two huge hacks.
Aircraft demo.
Trade that puts off anything ‘climate’ related until such time as the US is toast....and Taiwan is in hand.

One more thing: the US President is now a wife to a powerful man. Not a leader. Not a voice in anything. A wife.
