I don't have an Ivy League degree, but I knew about the Cadillac tax in 2010, because I read Drudge Report and Free Republic. Anyone who is surprised that this tax is part of Obamacare, or about what the effects of this tax will be, is a complete idiot.
Oops.
Yep, the Goober is everywhere. Well it takes one to know one.
‘... is a complete idiot.’
or they wanted to be lied to b/c it fit their expectations, prejudices etc. They would believe no bad thing about Barry or the liberals in Congress. There are still plenty who would more readily accept the lies coming out of DC and the press. What can be the outcome of a people so willing to be lied to?
Yes - he needed the bill to be overly complex so stupid Americans would vote for it.
I guess he was referring to the entire Democrat delegation of Congress in 2010.
“....Jonathan Gruber apparently doesn’t think much of the intelligence of the American people.”
.
Logical conclusion when considering that they put Obama in the WH, twice.
Yes some American people are stupid....they elected Obama twice...how stupid is that?
47% of Americans ARE stupid. But none of us “voted” on this plague of a bill.
Europeans were the first to call attention to American stupidity in this newspaper editorial:
The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their president.”
The only thing worse than liberals saying what they really think is when they do it on camera.
Algore never would have invented the Interweb if he had known it would be used to document what liberals think and say.
Because free government giveaways are free. That is why they call them free. What sort of heartless mean spirited right winger would be opposed to giving stuff away?
This is how the ‘Best & the Brightest’ view their fellow Americans.
It should come as no surprise.
Of course, if he was just talking about Dems, then he’s right..................
Middle America is largely stupid. It voted for Obama twice and did nothing to stop Harry Reed and the Dems from passing Obamacare.
Our take on Gruber shouldn’t be outrage that he believes or said Americans are stupid. Instead, it should be that he relied on their ignorance, and played on their ignorance, and deliberately manipulated the marketing of Obamacare, and knowingly relied on a compliant media, to move Obamacare through Congress for passage.
Plus, what he said helps us in the exchange subsidy case before the Supreme Court.
Call the editor of each one of your local media outlets: FM radio, AM radio, print news, television news.
Ask for the editor in charge.
Ask him why he has not run the Gruber story on his front page, top-of-the fold or equivalent.
Confront him with the plain fact that Obamacare is one of the four or five biggest news stories of the last few years. Confront him with the plain fact of Gruber’s specific fraud.
Ridicule him as a journalist.
Ridicule him as an editor.
Ridicule him for relying on the AP and other wires.
Ridicule him for his lack of professional integrity.
Ridicule him for LIVING IN YOUR TOWN and exercising such professional irresponsibility.
Make it personal.
There are thousand of head news editors living next door to us in our communities. Every one of them who passes along wire service feeds is a professional fraud. We know these men and women. They live next door. Their children go to the same schools as our children. Confront them with their professional ineptitude (at best) or outright propaganist fraude (at worst).
It needs to be played over and for "the stupid American voters" until they "get it".
-Tape needs to be played over and over for “the stupid American voters”
Take daddy’s money to give and looks good I suppose.
Actually Fox news edited out the laughing in the background, so this is not the best copy. It’s the laughing in the background that makes the point. What’s with Fox taking it out?
