I read the test. I don’t find it to very hard. But then again, I didn’t go to Harvard.
One question I found dating back in the 1870s was...”How many bubbles are there in a bar of soap?”
I thought it was fairly straightforward.
IMO this is all bogus. They should have given them the test without any explanation as to its source or original reason for the test. It’s actually quite simple providing you can read and follow directions.
Just shows that Harvard folks aren’t as smart as they think they are. I think the test isn’t that hard. Wrong to use for allowing people to vote, but geesh, you’d think our “betters” would be able to pass it.
A lot of the questions have more than one answer depending on how you interpret it.
I read it too, but it has some very confusing questions. No offense but I sort of doubt your reply. Either way though it was ridiculous to ever require a literacy test.
