Mitch McConnell, who may enjoy a 54 vote Senate Republican majority by January, wont commit to using the simple majority vote to kill Obamacare. This is why a vote for McConnell or any of his ilk is a wasted vote. This is why GOP increasingly nauseates me.

Junk the entire thing and start over.
They either do this or the next election cycle will be an incumbent massacre.

Ted Cruz is a courageous fighter trying to preserve America; however, he can’t do it alone.
Congress has to grow a set, which isn’t all that likely.

What really beats Ted on this issue at this point in time is that everyone believes the Supreme Court will reverse Burwell which will make Obamacare unsustainable.
The R's are not likely to patch the deficiency and at that point, the entire program is going down. No reason to spend the political capital to try to repeal it at this point under circumstances in which if they pass a repeal, Barry will veto it.
If the Court doesn't do the job for them, the R's will have lots of opportunities to cut off pieces until the program becomes a further problem for everyone.

Which is why the last time I was excited about a potential POTUS candidate his initials were RWR. Ted Cruz has become a courageous conservative hero. He has my support.

While Cruz wants to use a draconian budget measure to repeal Obamacare with just 51 votes in the Senate I wonder if this wingnut called reconciliation a 'draconian budget measure' when Harry Reid USED IT to PASS ObamaCare?

...” how to do it”....
Well that is the million (s) of dollar question isn’t it?
Most likely they’ll be piece-mealing the beast for years....meanwhile the public has to deal with the broken system.

Somehow, I get the feeling that in the end, and not just on one issue but many, Cruz is going to come out on top.

The Repubs want to brand Zerocare into their own version. In other words,
to change nothing but a few sentences and claim success. As usual.
Once again the Repubs want to do stupid, better.

Why is this so hard for even the RINOs to deal with? Everything I've seen says that CommieCrap is unpopular amongst a large majority of Americans-why would they need to even be worried about at least gutting it into oblivion, if they can't overturn it?

David Nather, Politico "journalist" who shamelessly shills for Obamacare....
Ms. Nather writes:
Cruz wants to use a draconian budget measure to repeal Obamacare with just 51 votes in the Senate...
Did lil' Davie report the way the Democrat Party passed Obamacare as "draconian"? Because it was oh so draconian...
In the end, folks, Nather and the other hacks for Obama/Hillary and the Demonrats will be on the wrong side of history. You see, totalitarianism and top-down control of populations has a limited life span....and the Nathers and Politicos and other Obamaphiles and Hillary worshipers haven't learned enough history to grasp that fact. Yet.
So, in the end, they'll lose.

Perhaps it would make sense to wait to see what the SCOTUS does about the subsidy. If they rule “correctly,” the job of Congress becomes infinitely easier. We should know that ruling by June.

...while Obamacare continues to enroll millions of people with health insurance. Huh? Did they fire the editors at Politico? First, it isn't continuing to sign up "millions" and why would they sign up people WITH insurance?
