And btw......

“.....In a Hispanic-majority district, where immigration could be a snag for a Republican, he was able to communicate why border security is key to solving the issue of immigrants in the country illegally, and that amnesty would cause more problems than it would fix....”

UNREAL!!!

This is equivalent to beating Cantor back in June (well, not quite the earthquake, but a really big deal in any case).

Being against Open Borders HAS NOT hurt Republicans ONE BIT, and there is plenty of polling to support that. They ONLY PEOPLE saying that we need open borders were the Democrat leaders and Republican consultants (most of them gay, by the way).

What I am somewhat surprised about is that being against Amnesty has not hurt the Republicans with Hispanics. On that issue the Republican consultants (most of them gay, by the way) are correct, which is that Hispanics would like Amnesty, at least in some form. But given this result, and what happened in Texas the Republican consultants (most of them gay, by the way) are overplaying the issue - as it’s probably of little or any concern to legal Hispanics in this country (i.e., way down the issues list). So we get a pass on it...very nice.

(and by the way, they do seem to almost all come out as gay, after the fact...I make my remark because Republican leaders have to, at some point, realize they are a 5th column and nearly cost us this election by pushing Amnesty to no end)

Pretty amazing to the punditry who will look cross-eyed for a moment followed by a smirk that it’s a mere anomaly while they promptly forget it.

Because Beltway talking points say the tsunami was due to the GOPe ‘selecting moderate-likable-reasonable’ candidates.

Now if this fellow talks Tea Party Turkey at the Freshman orientation I believe Boehner will imbibe more than his usual daily allotment of Jack Daniel’sand that would be fun to watch.

Isn’t this the district where the economy has been hurt so much by EPA water access restrictions (endangered species or some such)? If so, then Hannity went out there a few years back and did a big story on the situation.

God bless this true American and his family, and may he not be seduced by the RINOs .

One of the good guys won.

Either a homeboy or a neighbor (16th)...legislative district-wise, depending upon where Jim Thompson's alter-ego hangs his hats. (can't wear 'em all, all at once...)

But I'm guessing home is 22nd (Nunes).

I'm hoping but not holding my breath.

Costa is usually in lock-step with Pelosi and there are lots of absentee and provisional ballots to count.

If this guy wins, it should be breaking news blasted all over the Internet. This is how it’s done. This is how we take our country back.
