On MSNBC Tuesday, Gruber told Ronan Farrow that he spoke inappropriately when he made the comments, which surfaced this week in an online video.
The comments in the video were made at an academic conference, Gruber said. I was speaking off the cuff and I basically spoke inappropriately and I regret having made those comments.

I wanna hit some of that "nuanced" stuff they are smoking! It must be some good sheeite!
Actually, the dishonest way the ACA was foisted upon the country was inappropriate. His remarks has the benefit of being honest, if idiotic and insulting

Why can’t one person in front of a camera ever ask these libs if they think people are that stupid like their architect thinks? Because ‘nuances’ as they use it, means exactly that. That someone is too stupid to understand fine detail.
Do it for a week and watch America respond. Or ask yourselves why the GOP/conservatives never do.
I remember all those times a conservative person has made an ‘inappropriate’ comment, and the MSM talking heads ruminate about how ‘nuanced’ the statement is. They are very thoughtful and considerate that way.

“Grubers only regret is getting caught!”
Exactly
So his excuse is he spoke off the cuff and it was at an academic conference.
Why is it that liberals always have an excuse for things they say, but Republicans or conservatives are crucified,,and never can be forgiven or excused, for things that they say????
You freepers knew what the media thought about Americans a long time ago.
God Bless Our Veterans!
Not off subject.

Weinstein, back at home, was stunned at the reaction. Why did he keep finding Gruber gaffes? Why didn’t the press glom onto this stuff first?
Agreed. This guy is full of crap. He meant what he said and today’s apology is a worm’s way of trying to put it all in the past. Just another nasty elitist with a big mouth but no balls.
Gruber may not be far off the mark regarding the American voter.
Look what happened in 2008. What were the American people thinking they were getting into? Not only did they sweep Soetoro into office by a wide margin, but they also gave him huge majorities in both houses of Congress.
What did think was going to happen with election results such as that????
Elections have consequences. That’s how we got stuck with Obamacare in the first place. National healthcare has been in the Democrat Party platform since the 1940s.
Wow. Once upon a time, people used to *try*, at least, to have their comments resemble at least a tiny slice of reality and authenticity. No more, it seems.
“There’s no issue about content, everyone—Gruber’s content is spot on! It’s just his style which needs a bit of polish!”
Is the fact that he communicated the idea, “We had to lie to get it passed” truly being lost over the hyper-inflated quibble about the specific word “stupidity”? Was any rational person really focusing on the particular choice of word?
Translation: “We think in terms of sound-bytes, and the only threats we perceive are sound-byte-sized. That’s why the *fact* of our lying is no big whoop even if it’s known, and why we’re working so hard to disarm the word ‘stupidity’ in the public sphere.”
...because people are too stupid to care about anything else. And the irony comes full-circle. (Yeesh.)
Nice of Farrow to offer an explanation to the guy to help him out. Any real journalist simply would have asked: “you say the comments were inappropriate, but do you believe they were accurate?”
Its sad when someone speaks the truth about what they believe
The latest on the non-newsworthiness of Gruber’s latest stupidity seems to be on Phil Kerpen’s twitter site here:
It is active and happening in real time as I post this
IMHO this is going to go right to the attention of the USSC for the king v burell writ...

“Inappropriate Remarks”?
How about “Inconvenient Truths”!
Once you’ve been Grubered, you’re stuck on stupid.
