Damascus, Nov 10 (IANS) An armed militant group assassinated four Syrian nuclear power engineers near the capital Damascus, official reports said Monday.
The armed group Sunday ambushed a bus carrying the engineers to their work at the Scientific Research Centre in Damascus's Barzeh neighbourhood, Xinhua quoted the reports as saying.
The report has not specified whether the attack was carried out by an explosive device or shooting.
In July 2013, six people working at the same centre were killed in a mortar attack carried out by militants.
That’s it ISIS - keep living in the stone age...then again, what are “nuclear” scientists doing in Syria? uhm...maybe they did us and the rest of the world a favor just this one time...
I know it said armed group? I’m just thinking that it is a ISIS off brand not wanting progress of any kind since it goes against their doctrine...
That’s a shame.

This is most likely an Israeli hit. The Israeli’s hit Syria’s nuclear reactor just before the revolution. The Syrians, Iranians and North Koreans rebuilt it with the latest Russian anti-aircraft system. The Israeli’s could not hit it again without disabling the SAM system by neutralizing the three Russian ships controlling it. The purpose of the reactor is to build nuclear bombs. Progress, as you intend the word, has nothing to do with it.
Good news on Monday morning is a good thing.
Mossad in halloween costumes?
Can you say “Mossad Undercover With Plausible Deniability”?
I knew you could!
