That is like Bar-B-que places having a "non-smoking" section.

So the vegans can cause all sorts of trouble such as this, of course.
Two main reasons:
(1) A group comes in, and one or two of the people happen to be vegetarians who are going along with most of the group wanting burgers, or
(2) Militant vegans seeking out the place and wanting to create trouble. Much like gay activists seeking out a Christian baker to order a gay wedding cake.
