LOS ANGELES, CaliforniaIn an exclusive interview at Breitbart News Network's headquarters, Texas Gov. Rick Perry said President Barack Obama would cement a legacy of being the worst president in American history if he moves forward on executive amnesty.
"I don't think this man wants to go down as the absolute worst president in the United States although the jury is still out on that," Perry said, adding that if Obama moves forward on executive amnesty "he will be guaranteed that slot. Because the American people will not accept an executive order that basically takes our constitution and throws it out the window. They will not accept that."
Perry, considering a repeat presidential bid in 2016, had just spoken at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library for an event celebrating the 50th anniversary of Reagan's famous "A Time For Choosing" speech. Among his scalding criticisms of Obama, Perry explained the president's failings as due to his background as a U.S. senator something that happens to apply to several of his would-be challengers for the GOP presidential nomination.

Biden was a senator. I could easily see the 25th amendment being invoked or obola resigning in the next 2 years. Stranger things have happened.
We all have an immigration problem!
No Senator should be President unless they also serve as Governor.
Perry has fooled a lot of people with his tough guy talk and symbolic deployment of National Guard to the southern border earlier this year.
The Democrats have hauled him into court on trumped up charges anyway because he is an R and they are D’s, but that doesn’t make Governor Perry a real conservative either.
Perry is firing a shot across Ted Cruz’s bow IMHO....
But will the next POSOTUS be a socialist/totalitarian bootlicker, Rick?
> Cruz is running for President. He wants no part of the Majority Leader’s job — which would simply get in the way.
Jeff Sessions is best qualified or Majority Leader, anyway
Sessions would make a good one.
Bttt!!!!!!!!!
He also endorsed Mitch McConnell, the man who openly declared war on the TEA Party.
He also said Hillary was a "Great Secretary of State".
It is laughable that anyone would continue to make the failed argument that the man is conservative or presidential material. He is everything that is wrong with the Republican Party.
Trying to knock out Ted Cruz already?
Ted Cruz by universal acclaim.
Perry’s state is doing well economically, Walker’s not so much. Walker is doing the same sorts of things that caused Pennsylvania to pitch Corbett over, so of the two, my money would be on Perry to be able to deliver the goods.
Cruz’s or Paul’s, more likely both. He has a point.
Sessions would be good at whatever he chooses to do, he seems to be one of those rare people that has a realistic sense of what is appropriate.
Perry has a problem not coming off as a nincompoop when the cameras are rolling. I don’t know if he’s just really good at delegating or at decision-making, but he’s really good at something that doesn’t translate on the tv screen. That’s a problem for our country, that we are picking people based on a false criteria.
I can assure you it will not be Rick Perry.
“Adios Mofo”
to the DPS trooper, “don’t you know who I am?”
“Trans Texas Corridor”
“Unproven STD drugs for teens”
“toll roads are good”
etc....
Just saying....too much baggage.
You're the eternal optimist, Rick ... 0bama is already the absolute worst president in these United States; the verdict has been returned. All that's left in the next two years is to see how bad he really is.
It's not going to be a former governor of Texas either. Actually I'd bet on it being a senator.
At this point, I think I'd prefer a Master Chief or Sergeant Major to a flag officer ...
Senator, governor, or other. That is TBD.
One thing is for certain-America’s next president won’t be Rick Perry.
Right now my only line in the sand is Jeb or Crispy. Oh wait both Governors. LOL!
