Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expanded his council of ministers Sunday in a bid to boost the governments agenda and kick-start the economy.
Twenty-one new ministers took the oath of office at a brief ceremony at the presidential palace in New Delhi. [ ]
Although Modi had promised during the election campaign that if elected he would head a lean government, political analysts said the expansion became necessary because ministers were overburdened, slowing Modis economic reform agenda.

India needs to streamline government, lower taxes and regulation to improve their economy. I mean Indians go to Maritius to earn money to send home.
Maritius is a free market miracle compared to India.
Then they shouldn’t worry about having to send workers to Maritius for work, lol.

The words "socialist"and "secular" were added by Indira Gandhi in 1975 during the emergency. There are some opinions that they were added unconstitionally as parliament was suspended at the time. Since then, the only Govt to have enough of a majority to remove them has been Indira Gandhi's son.
38 years is long enough for permanent damage to have been done.
