Alaska Democratic Senator Mark Begich is counting on votes that are not yet counted in the Last Frontiers Senate race. One hundred percent of the precincts are in and Begichs GOP challenger Dan Sullivan is currently in the lead by 8,000 votes. But, the incumbent Democrat is insisting that more rural votes could change the outcome.
ABC News has the specifics:
According to Gail Fenumiai, the director of the Alaska Division of Elections, there are 23,271 early and absentee ballots deemed eligible for counting. These are already received and reviewed as eligible. They sent out another 12,541 absentee ballots and if postmarked by November 4th, ballots can arrive legally 15 days after the election and still be properly counted. Of course, they have no idea how many of those will be returned.
Because of these yet-to-be-tallied votes, Begich's campaign manager Susanne Fleek-Green said her boss is in it for the long haul:
She said Begich would make a statement on the race only after counts arrive from the seventy outstanding villages and when the number of outstanding absentee and questioned ballots is clear.
Sullivans campaign, however, is claiming that Begich is clinging to votes that dont exist. Several news outlets appear to agree with them. The Alaska Dispatch News, for instance, says Begich faces daunting math to overcome the deficit and the Alaska Public Radio Network asserted the incumbents decision to stay in the race is based on an implausible hypothetical resurgence.
Nevertheless, Begich doesnt seem to be backing down. This race may not be called for weeks.
Despite the close vote tally Franken’s vote fraud was obvious. Withe just about every district quite evenly divided between Franken and Coleman ballot boxes were “found” with 100% Franken votes.
Begich campaigned in the interior and the far north of Alaska. He reached all parts of the state not just Democratic Anchorage.
Whether that ultimately helps him remains to be seen but I don’t think it will pay off since the race wasn’t as close as the Democrats would have liked.
Actually, it's very possible. The kinds of people who do absentee ballots might be military people - in which case they might vote 70-30 for Sullivan. Or they could be people from the remote areas of the reservations, in which case they might vote 70-30 for Begich. I'd say there's a good chance Begich might still win.
The evil democrats changing the election results yet again by adding votes that don’t exist. Hateful monsters from the pit of hell who would destroy America for their own benefit. May the Lord God Jesus Christ stop their evil from continuing. The hate filled evil left wing communist democrats are so very dangerous to America and all our children.
We need a Palin to run against the senator who shall not be named, and that would be Todd Palin. Think about it, he is a natural, he knows oil, bush-planes, off road vehicles off all types, fishing, small businesses, and yes politics.
Is this the guy that Palin endorsed?
*************
No. That was Joe Miller who won the GOP primary against Murkowski but
she ran as a write in and won in the General.

Do you really think Sarah is going to endorse a democrat!!!???!!!
Has Palin chimed in on this?
True that...sigh...
Wash, Post -
Whereas Sullivan and the Republican Party have 14 field staffers on the payroll, Begich and the Democratic Party have 90. Nearly half of them are based in rural Alaska and are responsible for on-the-ground organizing in the states 198 Native villages such as Quinhagak.
We have knocked on every single door in rural Alaska, Begich said in an interview. This is unbelievable. No ones ever done it like this ever.
All precincts are in. 100% of precincts are in, including all remote ones.
The issue is absentee ballots from all over Alaska.
Then the question is, why does it take so damn long to count absentee ballots????
Sounds good to me.
Every Car trunk in Alaska to be subject to search. Franken staff heading to Alaska. /s
They may not be all in yet. Absentee ballots post marked by Nov. 4 will be counted up to 14 days after Nov 4.
Counting doesn’t even start until Nov. 11.
This is why the left pushes mail-in, early, same day registration, and no ID’s. Each provide unique and simple opportunities for fraud.
In person, single day, and verified absentee is hard enough to police.
In the past, Eskimo tribal leaders have been bought off by the Democrats, and those votes decided the race. Unfortunately, that could happen again here.
My guess is that the lady passed them out and if they were not signed, who do you think would sign them in place of the person upon who's name was on the ballot?
How easy would it be to replace one that someone had signed for one that showed a different voting?
I asked her if she wanted to vote and she said yes so she filled it out and I handed it in to the proper authority.
It is so easy to cheat.
