Prayers up for John, his family and his caretakers. Head injuries seem to take their own sweet time with the healing process. So hard to trust in God and have patience. Will also add his name to our Prayer Group list. The more voices going to God on his behalf the better.
My prayers for a complete healing.
Prayers up!
Sorry to hear about Arrowhead’s fall. I will keep him in my daily prayers.
Prayers have been lifted.
As soon as I saw this thread, I stopped and visualized our friend all healed and back to normal.
As someone who climbs ladders for a living, I’m all too aware of the inherent risks involved. It’s especially painful for me when someone I know, has a fall from one. I can relate to that in ways that most people can’t.
Heal, my friend. We’ll be here for you when you’re ready to return to us.
Praying for a miracle for a good man and his family.
May God heal him within and without.
St. Bernadette of Lourdes, pray for Arrowhead!
Thank you, buddy.

Dear Heavenly Father...We ask for your healing hands to be placed on our dear Arrowhead...Hold his family close during this trying time. Guide his medical providers as they treat AH.

Prayer thread for Arrowhead
Prayer warrior ping. I know we heard about this in freepmail already...but now someone has posted a thread and with this, Arrowhead1952 can see all the posts in his favor in one place. Please keep him in your prayers!
Absolutely.
I have a family member who was in an accident and had a severe head injury. He was in a coma for awhile. They thought that if he lived, he would be severely impaired. We thought he was going to be placed in a nursing home. But he improved just enough to go to rehab (the fact that the freeper is in rehab is a good sign). He would not talk or respond at first. Then very slowly progress was made.
He had to relearn how to walk, talk, go to the bathroom — everything. He did not remember people who had died years earlier. It was weird in that he would remember things from childhood but not recent.
The emotions go through cycles as they are healing. There was the easy-going cycle. There was the crying cycle. Lots of it was very childlike.
Get the movie Regarding Henry. It will help give an idea of what might happen.
Recovery was not 100%. But it is not bad. It is hard to describe in that some things are normal and some things never will be.
Everyone is different. Some on the emotional cycles can go through anger, cursing, all sorts of things opposite their normal personality. So keep in mind none of that is probably permanent. We were lucky in that the most negative thing was the crying. That was almost comical.
Prayers said for our FReeper friend...may God’s mercy be with him.
Oh my, my prayers are with him and his family. Don’t give up people. Healing can happen.
