IOs8 is buggy and can’t even cut and paste properly. I’m not surprised. If you want to sync with iTunes or back up your phone, you’d most likely connect to your computer with USB. Would your computer then get infected too?

Probably. Can’t say for sure but its senseless to have a virus that doesn’t use all the pathways.

I just cut and pasted your reply into FR's edit window in iOS. If you want to SYNC your iPhone to iTunes or backup your iPhone it's done wirelessly and has been done so for four years. The description of this so-called "exploit" is as misinformed as you are. It, like your post, are based in outdated FUD.

buggy? iOS 8? 8.1 has been pretty solid (no less stable than iOS 7 versions) for me. I have had a couple of app issues, that were actually the fault of those developers (all but one have been resolved with their app being updated).
