House Speaker John Boehner and incoming Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, outlining their legislative vision for the last two years of Barack Obamas presidency, are vowing to try to repeal the Affordable Care Act.
The Republican House speaker from Ohio and incoming Senate majority leader from Kentucky noted that a commitment to creating jobs means renewing our commitment to repeal Obamacare, which is hurting the job market along with Americans health care. The ACA remains a politically divisive issue, and further attempts at repeal would surely be met with significant Democratic opposition and a White House veto.

I’ll believe it when I see it.
Is this satire? Yeah right...sure...
They’d damm-well better.
I thought McConnell specially said he wasn’t? I wish our Senate leadership would think outside the DC bubble. They just negotiate with themselves knowing Obama would veto. Fine. Pass it once, let him veto it. Get everyone on record so when prices skyrocket and people lose their coverage, the table is set for 2016.
They will kill it after they replace it with something more or less identical.
They are both proven liars.
Message to John & Mitch: Quit flapping your yaps about it and Just DO It.
“John Boehner, Mitch McConnell vow to kill Obamacare”
Hey, don’t let us hold you back, ladies.
Took the words right out of my mouth ........
I expect this will amount to a few tweaks and a declaration that “we’ve killed Obamacare”.
When does the employer mandate kick in?
Liars.
They support RomneyCARE = ObamaCARE.
THEY MUST GO.
The Dems lost a lot of votes because of Obamacare...and seniors remember Obama cutting off COLA for 2 years.
Me too.
But the path to doing so will require help from the Dems. Passing Obamacare took a lot of arm twisting by Obama. That's not going to happen again. So success in repealing or greatly diminishing Obamacare will necessary be based on the threat to the Senate Democrats to hang Obamacare around their necks in 2016 if they don't go along.
I think that threat will be there and there will be a lot a Dems paying attention to it.
We'll see. It should be interesting and it will require that the GOP sticks together on this - both Houses.
Can't the new Republican majority kick these wavering, self-serving RINOs out of leadership roles?
Nah, they won’t.
Can you at least wait until the new congress gets sworn in before you start flappen your yap?
