So should we legalize over-the-counter heroin ? (prescription is, of course, commonly available in a variety of mixes). <-
Sounds like you answered your own question.
Once again, the /sarc tag was necessary.
Do I really have to explain why mind-altering drugs should not be legalized ?

Do you support leaving intrastate marijuana regulation to the states, per the Tenth Amendment?

"...Do I really have to explain why mind-altering drugs should not be legalized?..." They already are. In the form of alcohol and tobacco. Explain to me what's the real difference between the lot of'em. And yes, I have experienced the majority of them at one time or another over the course of my life. Currently, I partake of none. I do not smoke pot. When I tried it all it accomplished was making me hungry and paranoid. My physique makes it painfully obvious that I have no problem with hunger, so why pay to be paranoid? And no, I am not a libertarian.
Please, someone "enlighten" me. d:^)

Well, that’s fine. But this thread essentially does not raise heroin as subject to efforts toward legalization, so kindly take your red herring elsewhere.

Do I really have to explain why mind-altering drugs should not be legalized ? I don't know. Let's have a couple of shots of Tequila and we'll talk about it.
