I question the necessity of including the procedural threats. They should have just sent the offer to help with quick bipartisan debate on the issue. The threat is implicit. Reid knows that. Now Reid has no face saving alternative and will continue on as he has.

I question the necessity of including the procedural threats. I don't. It's high time some of the folks on our side started playing hardball with the enemies of our republic -- and did so with no holds barred.
I don't understand how you can criticize Cruz' firm, but civil tactics, after what Obama and the Dems have done to us (and our guys) over the last eight years.
As Rush said on his show today, the mandate of this election is clear: the people want the Republicans to STOP Obama in his tracks. We may have to break a few noses to do that.
