"The IRS last month posted drafts of its new forms for the 2014 tax year. These should by no means be considered complete Congress can often keep meddling with the tax code deep into December but looking at the draft 1040 can remind us of the changes ahead. Here are four lines from the 2014 1040 that reflect changes.......
Line 61 Health care: individual responsibility (see instructions): This is the much-talked-about individual mandate. The fee for not having health insurance in 2014 is 1% of your yearly income or $95, whichever is higher. The payment amount will rise in future years. While the IRS instructions are not yet available, the instructions will likely cover that calculation. The instructions will also cover the menagerie of exemptions that the Department of Health and Human Services have put forth."

Two things need activism right NOW-- we have 35 days with the loser leftovers in the Senate and the House- so let's get on it: 1.) Boehner NO way on amnesty funding-- period. Right now. No Money to allow obamaumao to do this and violate US Law. 2.) Removal of LINE 61 in the 1040 2014 final draft. Remove the Surtax by removal of funding for the collection of it (which can be protested since the only means of collection of non-payment is by non-payment of refunds).
Comments? This starts TODAY-- right?
Excellent Idea ...
Correct! Something needs to be done and Now!
Line 1 of the new 2014 IRS 1040 Form.
1. Do you have Obamacare?
2. If yes, sign up for refund at line 14.
3 If no, you owe $10,000 above what ever you owe. Pay up NOW!
I didn't hear that. I thought that it was only going to be $95 the first year. No percentage.
And guess who won't pay it — the cheats, who wanted Obamacare — while the rest of us, who take our taxes seriously, will pay it.
The story repeats itself — cheaters do win.
Starting today I’m demanding they impeach this bastard, emails, phone calls, whatever it takes. I doubt they will do it but that’s not going to stop me from pushing them everyday until they do. Other people may not believe it but I certainly do without one single solitary doubt: We got a radical Muslim and an enemy of the United States in the nations highest office, how much more evidence do people require? And he has got to go ASAP, this is extremely extremely dangerous keeping this piece of rat slime in office. God knows what he is doing on the side and what he is going to do out of revenge now after the election. Getting him out of office should be priority #1 above EVERYTHING else!
Which is precisely WHY the line 61 should be removed.
1% of net income or 95.00 whichever is larger. And, btw, that is- my understanding— assessed if you have full annual coverage. Could be wrong on this, and the assessment is there if you don’t check the box for full annual coverage.
Because, you see, your premiums are deductible on Schedule A.
For a real thrill, check out the CMS exemption forms for seeking exemptions for the surtax/mandate. One of the conditions allowed for exemption is the cost of your coverage being 8% or more of your annual income-— BUT, to get the exemption you have to fill out one of their G-D forms at CMS (and include your SS#) and state your income there for them to “check” w/ the IRS!!! Another whole bureaucracy with your personal information and govt. surveillance. That is what these jackasses wrote into a law- interlocking federal bureaucracies affecting our very ablility to get healthcare of ANY quality. And it will be much lower quality.
Damn. Welcome to Big Brother.
You could also fairly easily just defund the bill, but the losers in the GOPe are deathly afraid of a government shutdown. I think of the opportunity it presents to show how depraved Obama is. Separately fund milk for orphans, but not Obamacare. He vetoes it. Separately fund care for seniors, he vetoes. Separately fund national parks, veterans benefits, ebola research. Any Dem voting with Obama will be exposed for 2016. It will work, but it requires balls, and Sarah Palin is not in Congress.
