MSNBCs political panel on Election Night was shocked by the Republican Partys victory in the Illinois Governor race on Tuesday, with Andrea Mitchell declaring it a real blow to the president.
Chris Matthews described GOP candidate Bruce Rauners victory as unbelievable and amazing. And host Andrea Mitchell added it's also a real blow to president obama. Theres no way you cant call it a blow to the president. Because he campaigned for him [Democrat Gov. Pat Quinn]. That was one race that the president really did want to win. Al Sharpton added that Republicans did a better job turning out their base than Democrats.

I pass up the Schadenfreude, because my Freude is not in Schaden.
Can some positive things get done. Can Illinois, America, the world be allowed to be a little more free. I don’t care whether or not the opposition folks feel like they are suffering. That’s God’s business, not mine.
Doug Truax would have been a nice alterative to Oberweis...
GOOD!
With Mittens?..................
Barky campaigned in Maryland and Wisconsin, both GOP wins.
National repudiation of dem policies and Durban pulls off 54% of the vote, that's Chicago politics for ya.
Dirt-bin didn't win, he never wins but he still stays in office.

I totally agree. As an ex-Army Ranger, he was really looking forward to debating Durbin on his slanderous comments about our troops. Plus, Doug works as a healthcare consultant so he knew the details of the Obamacare mess. I hope he stays in politics because he’ll be a big plus for Illinois.
Supposedly, Turbin/Durbin is going to be selected by 0 for an appointment to some Exec-branch position as a payback for Durbin's bootlicking during the past six years. This will leave his seat open and give the Governor the opportunity to fill it by appointment. Cheri Bustos, who is Durbins goddaughter was mentioned as a potential appointee, but I don't think that will happen-she just doesn't seem to be up to that position. Interesting in that it follows the IL-17 playbook of handing these seats down like family heirlooms.
Anyway, Quinn getting his azz handed to him yesterday may really be upsetting the democrat apple cart.
Oh I heard it too....Bravo Ted Cruz!!!!!!!!!
Megyn was acting a little squirrelly last night, if you ask me.
Towards the end, she had hauled 2 large dispensers to her table, and was cranking out chocolate almonds.
