WHERE THE HECK HAVE YOU BEEN???? It is GRRRRREAT to see
you here NOT gloating of course!!!!!!!
What will they do with the victory?
I have no expectations. Now the winners have to show they are Obama’s equal to the task ahead.
OMG! Good to ‘see you’, John!
How could you omit the mayhem in Maryland?
Well, I guess they will have to wait until they are sworn in and get down to business, won’t they? Like I said - I just want to gloat in the victory for a couple of months. Why be such a Debbie Downer? No, they don’t have to show they are obama’s equal - they need to show they are superior! We elected some great Senators and Representatives to the House, some not so great, but at least we have put a finger in the dyke that is sinking this country into tyranny! So, please, just shut up and enjoy this moment!
The devil of doubt and despair.
Very effective.
Sometimes you have to wonder about motive.
Yeah for Mia Love!!!
Haven’t seen you in a long time. Thanks for the ping to another excellent essay
Except here in Pennsylvania, where the dems and dead voters came out in full force to elect the most liberal governor Pa has ever seen.
Haven’t seen your “handle” around here for a long time. Glad to see you weighing in again.
The SOB Corbett raised the gas tax.
He forgot why he was elected. It takes a lot to be a GOP governor and lose.
And while you are NOT gloating, there is another, very down ticket, dynastic upset in WI — Julien Bradley over Doug LaFollette for Secretary of State. A very young, rather overweight, very bright black man knocked off a LaFollette in WI who has held the SOS position for at least 20+ years.
LaFollette is a legendary name in WI, but this guy actually was sort of an imposter who changed the spelling of his name to make it appear that he was a member if the famous LaFollette family. He’s a nasty piece of work who was elected again and again, but who only became noticed when he refused to issue the official wording of Gov. Scott Walker’s Act 10 for weeks, thus allowing the unions to secure new contracts before the law went into effect that would allow public sector union members to opt out.
At least Bradley’s victory looked secure last night.
Well I for one am glad to see you’re not gloating.
I would also point out there was nothing even remotely wave like in last night results
Yep, ya got that right.
Franken and Dayton were to be expected. Stewart Mills (8th CD)...that hurt.
Nice job, John. Ain’t the beer cold! (Not that I will mention that. :-))
I would say Maryland electing a Republican governor by a significant margin is pretty real.
Oh rats! I just looked it up — LaFollette pulled it out at the last minute after I went to bed. LaFollette was the ONLY Democrat to survive statewide election in Wisconsin last night.
