This past summer wildfires ravaged parts of eastern Washington state. Those affected communities applied for Federal aid and were denied.
And here we have some lava flowing through a few people’s yards and the money train starts moving.

Slow-moving disaster. Yet wildfires and tornadoes are denied.
From my limited recollection of Pu’u/O’o lava, you should have enough time to completely dismantle your home and rebuild it elsewhere...that is if the flow doesn’t simply stop at any given time.
Well, Hawai’i has had any FEMA cash in a while so...what the hey, let’s use the Obama Stash (AKA: Fed Treasury) to get few votes.
