Rush just reporting from the Politico that the Republican Establishment is more happy about the supposed destruction of the Tea Party than it is about taking the majority and beating the Democrats.
We are so screwed.
Another article, one that counters the Politico article, says that Ted Cruz has spent the last couple of months working to get out the Conservative vote for GOap candidates that Conservatives opposed in the primaries. Cruz is uniting the party, not to hand over control to the Liberal Republicans, but to secure some backing from those Liberals, in pay back for his help.
The moderate Republicans know. Now, that they do need the conservatives. This is an anti-Obama vote, and it does not mean that the GOP is moving toward the center. It means that Obama has united the GOP, and if the GOP wants to get avoid extinction, the moderate Republicans will have to work with the Consevatives, not with the a Democrats.
The investigation by James O’Keefe in North Carolina is profound in its findings. Essentially, anyone can go into most election sites and claim they are someone, without having to provide identification. So now BOTH parties can claim fraud if they lose. This is the logical result from the efforts of greedy corrupt politicians to gain an advantage, and the result of ignant judges who still don’t understand that without proper identification, fraud rules, and in the case of North Carolina, they might as well not have an election and just toss a coin.
