All, got my “Affordable Care Act” Anthem BCBS renewal notice today...starts Dec 1st.

My policy, family of 4, $11,000 deductible, Anthem, old price, $335/mo.

New price, $412/mo.

23% increase on a catastrophic policy.

That’s $77/mo, I now have to NOT spend on restaurants, NOT spend on fun stuff.

Anyone else get their new premium notices yet?

But Senator Cardin said on Fox News Sunday just yesterday that health insurance costs have gone down!

And that hack shill Chris Wallace didn’t even challenge him on it.

Have you ever applied for a mortgage? If so, you will remember that every $50 you could afford in a payment meant a significant increase in the amount of house you could afford. If I recall correctly, each $50 a month you can afford is worth $10,000 in the purchase price increase.

Now, imagine how that $77 increase applied to others that are shopping for a home, will now have to degrade their search by $15K in a market that is still very depressed.

2015 is going to be a bad year....

That's a cheap policy, but the deductible is ridiculous.
