Just a tad of background might be helpful.
Birthers.
Another Klayman birther suit goes down in flames? Who would have thunk it?
A tad of background:
Florida Judge Kevin J.Carroll, in Voeltz v. Obama, No. 2012 CA 03857, had given the plaintiffs until Dec. 23 to respond to Obamas motion to dismiss the case, changed his mind and abruptly ordered the case dismissed several days before the deadline. Carroll thought the movie Miracle on 47th St. was law, and cited it in his opinion saying that since the government recognizes Mr. Obama as President then this court will not dispute it, case dismissed.
