I guess the “judge” believes the nurse’s CONSTITUTIONAL rights to ride her bike whereever take precedence of anyone else’s CONSTITUTIONAL right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
We are dealing with a nation of people BLESSED by their total ignorance of the realities of the spreading of a fatal infectious disease.
How many Americans are fully aware that the expression, “GOD BLESS YOU” when someone sneezes did in reality come as a result of history’s worst plagues that was readily and quickly spread by people who “merely” sneezed.
It is said that “Ignorance is Bliss”. Too many of us lead “blissful” lives.

Despite the "You're free" headlines, she IS under quarantine. She's not allowed near people, can't work, can't go to the store and I'm sure has to do some temp testing and submit to blood tests....probably directly via CDC personnel.

So when will Obama ask for funds to pay for her future.

She's just another Fluke.

And why didn't CDC protest any form of quarantine when they quarantined Duncan.....and later...his relatives.

I have mixed feelings on this. I think quarantines are generally a good idea with diseases like this. But we should trust knowledgeable people with a basis in science instead of hysteria spread by the mainstream media. Also, just because 1 dumb@ass does something stupid is not a reason to act against everyone.

I gotta side with the nurse on this. The tests came back negative and she showed no signs. She didn’t fit the CDC criteria. She knew the precautions she took and was knowledgeable about the disease. The checker at the airport didn’t have a clue when they gave the initial test. It was proved to be a false test. That nurse really doesn’t wanna die either. And there was no law in place that allowed her detainment. That is my biggest sticking point. Just because Chris Christie says detain her in a tent in a Jersey parking lot isn’t good enough reason for me. It has no basis in law. And blindly surrendering rights to an authority with no legal basis is a really bad idea.

If Jersey wants to do that, let them pass a well defined quarantine law. Not just snatch people on Chris Christie’s say so.
